'The Promise' is based on the birth, life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus.

If you've seen "Celebrate America" in the past, you need to come back to see this season's show. It has been enhanced with new songs, new scenes and new dance numbers that will make you stand and be proud to be an American.

Join an American family as they take a walk through time, celebrate American patriotism and discover that the pride that was felt at the birth of our nation still rings true today. During this electrifying theatrical show, performed in The Mansion, you'll experience comedy, dancing, singing and special effects all pieced together to form the amazing reflection of Americana that is "Celebrate America."

Witness the amazing talents of one of the largest casts of singers, actors and dancers in Branson. Swing dance, tap numbers and familiar songs from the '40s will astound you.

The Mansion has taken the phrase "God and Country" and put it into action with "Celebrate America" at 10 a.m. and the theater's 3 p.m. production of "The Promise."

"The Promise" is making a comeback and taking Branson theatergoers by storm. This is the second season of the new production of the timeless musical, based on the birth, life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus.

Located in The Mansion Entertainment and Media Center, the two-hour production brings the story to life as you've never experienced it before. At times, you'll forget that you are just an observer. You'll find yourself being caught up in the action as the Gospel comes alive before your eyes.

This third generation of "The Promise" includes a revised script, updated by the original author, as well as new music and orchestration, new stage sets, incredible costumes and breathtaking scenery. If you've seen earlier versions of "The Promise" either in Glen Rose, Texas, or during its previous seven seasons in Branson, or if you missed seeing this new production in 2006, you're in for a new experience with this latest version of the award-winning musical. Show times are 3 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday, through Dec. 9. Come experience "The Promise" at The Mansion, located at Highway 248 and Gretna Road.

There are numerous exciting stars coming to The Mansion Entertainment and Media Center in 2007, including the Kingston Trio and Natalie Cole. For more information, call (417) 239-1333 or see a list of future concerts at www.themansiontheatre.com.
