The Mansion has taken the phrase "God and Country" and put it into action with "Celebrate America" at 10 a.m. and the theater's 3 p.m. production of "The Promise."

"The Promise" is making a comeback and taking Branson theatergoers by storm. This is the second season of the new production of the timeless musical, based on the birth, life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus.

Located in The Mansion Entertainment and Media Center, the two-hour production brings the story to life as you've never experienced it before. At times, you'll forget that you are just an observer. You'll find yourself being caught up in the action as the Gospel comes alive before your eyes.

This third generation of "The Promise" includes a revised script, updated by the original author, as well as new music and orchestration, new stage sets, incredible costumes and breathtaking scenery. If you've seen earlier versions of "The Promise" either in Glen Rose, Texas, or during its previous seven seasons in Branson, or if you missed seeing this new production in 2006, you're in for a new experience with this latest version of the award-winning musical.
